There is always another sequence nobody tried. Another role. Another
old record. Another way to leave a page halfway through doing something
important.
/carbon-forever is for deliberately sustained
investigation. The agent keeps learning the product, expanding coverage,
and following findings into new questions rather than stopping because
one cycle looked clean.
More time should buy
different questions
Consider a document editor. The first pass saves a document. A later
pass explores a stale tab. Another investigates permission changes
during editing. A failure there might lead to export, search, and
recovery questions.
The point is not to rerun the happy path until the token allowance
disappears. The useful work is discovering states and interactions that
earlier passes did not understand.
Before starting or resuming, CARBON requires two separate human
confirmations. You can specify a time or cycle limit; without one, the
workflow is intended to continue until stopped or interrupted by the
host. An open report is not an independent agent that keeps running
after the coding session ends.
Watch the current
investigation
/carbon-forever explore the isolated local document app for 90 minutes; use synthetic data and do not modify source
The live mission report shows the current work, why it matters,
elapsed time, coverage growth, and findings. Durable checkpoints support
resumption. Token ceilings are meaningful only when attributable usage
is available; time or cycle limits are safer when it is not.
The command does not authorize destructive testing, paid cloud work,
or automatic fixes. Long-running testing needs stronger boundaries, not
fewer of them.
Give the agent time to investigate. Keep the authority, environment,
and stop conditions clear.
