You do not need to delete your Selenium suite to start using AI in
testing.
That suite may contain years of hard-earned knowledge: a rounding
rule, a forgotten permission boundary, a recovery sequence somebody
learned about from an unhappy customer. The flaky wait is not the only
thing in the file.

Upgrade the
investigation, not just the syntax
A brittle screenshot test might need better setup and stable state
before it needs an AI judge. A manual case may contain an excellent
business expectation but no reproducible data. A passing script may
click every button without checking the resulting record.
CARBON can make the intent and expected behavior explicit, identify
gaps, and convert selected assets into reusable AI-intent tests.
Existing source, constraints, and assertion meaning should survive the
conversion.
When appropriate and approved, sparse model-powered screenshot
checkpoints can add visual review at consequential states. They are not
