Bring Feedback Back Into the Testing Loop

Keep the review attached to the artifact and the next action.

“Looks good” in a chat is convenient. A specific comment attached to the right version of the right screen is useful.

/carbon-feedback creates a scoped CARBON Feedback Loop around an artifact: a URL, image, document, API, code surface, or other review target.

Ask for the feedback you need

Suppose you want a product owner to review a cancellation explanation. Give the reviewer the artifact, the relevant context, and the question: does this accurately describe what happens to access and billing?

The feedback should return as durable context the agent can use, not a vague instruction to rewrite everything. Fix-and-retest work needs to retain which version was reviewed and what changed afterward.

The local user can respond in a protected HTML workspace. For external reviewers, CARBON includes a self-hosted server path with reviewer and queue workflows. Deployment to your own private environment or public HTTPS host is an explicit choice; the command does not silently send artifacts to a managed public service.

Keep the invitation scoped

/carbon-feedback prepare a local review of the cancellation screen; ask about wording, consequences, and recovery; do not send invitations yet

Rich email invitations link to a review workspace. They should not promise that every mail client can safely run an embedded form. Sharing, recipients, expiration, and access need deliberate configuration.

The value is continuity: the developer's question, the reviewer's answer, and the resulting investigation stay connected.

Feedback becomes part of the quality record instead of one more comment everybody remembers differently.
