# Pre-Workshop Email

Send to all registered attendees **3 days before** the session. The single biggest cause of a bad workshop experience is someone arriving unable to use AI — this email prevents it.

Hi —

You're booked for **Vibe-Coding a Business** with Jason Arbon. It's hands-on the whole way through — you'll build a real product, positioning, pitch, and sales motion using AI, in one sitting.

Five minutes of setup now means you start building at 9am instead of fighting your laptop. Please do all four:

**1. Bring a laptop.** Not a tablet. You'll be typing, building, and running AI tools.

**2. Have a paid, high-end AI account ready.** Claude (Pro), ChatGPT (Plus), or Gemini (Advanced). The free tiers hit limits mid-exercise — please come with a paid one.

**3. Test it on the laptop you're bringing — today.** This is the step everyone skips. Open the laptop you'll bring, on the network you'll use, and confirm you can reach **claude.ai** and **chatgpt.com** and actually send a message.
   - On a work laptop? Many companies block AI tools or route through a VPN. **Find out now.** If it's blocked, bring a personal laptop or sort out access before Saturday.
   - On conference Wi-Fi concerns: a phone hotspot is a fine backup.

**4. Bring an idea — or don't.** Either works:
   - **Have a business or product idea?** Bring it. Even a rough one. You'll stress-test and sharpen it all day.
   - **No idea?** No problem. We have a bank of 12 starter ideas you can grab in 60 seconds, three of them with worked examples. You will not be stuck.

**Optional, if you want a head start:** open your AI tool and spend two minutes describing a domain you know well and who in it is "bleeding" — losing time or money on a problem today. That's the raw material for Stage 1.

**What you'll walk out with:** a tested idea, a working demo, positioning copy, a pitch, drafted outreach, a validation run, and an operating loop — plus a filled-in workbook.

**Logistics**
- Arrive 10 minutes early — you'll be seated in a small group ("pod") you'll work with all day.
- It's a long, active session with one real break. Caffeinate accordingly.
